Welcome to Chef M.I.A. Works Catering, I am founder/CEO, LaTisha Cottman. If you haven’t noticed, I have a passion for culinary art and vision for creating. Born in Richmond, Indiana and raised in Harlem, New York, with a applied science degree in Culinary Arts from Columbus Culinary Institute in Columbus, OH. I also have had formal classic training at Cameron Mitchell Premiere Events as well. I began cooking at the early age of 8 years old along sides of my late maternal grandmother and mother. I fell in love with food and had dreams of someday having people longing for my dishes. Since then I and have been grooming my skills and craft to become an Executive chef in the future & cook book author.
Working in corporate America 18 plus years I decided to take my love for food to the next level and started Chef M.I.A. Works, LLC. October 2014 a full service catering & food management company. I enjoy providing my clients with delicious modern cuisine with an artistic flare. My goal is to bring innovation, diversity and quality to every gathering whether it’s an intimate home dinner or large gala for hundreds. I work directly with my clients to customize any type of menu my clients. We focus on item and or themes that offer creative ideas to help plan an event that will leave a lasting impression and that give your guest “A Taste Chef M.I.A. Works”.
